6,500 tourists visit Three Gorges dam the first Golden Day

November 1st is the first day of the National Day holidays (the "Golden Week" of tourism). Up to 6 PM yeasterday, the Three Gorges Dam has received 6,500 tourists from home and abroad in one day.

It's predicted that the number of visitors will reach a climax in the next two days to more than ten thousand per day.
